The adventures of Pippi Longstocking, The Diary of Preston Plummer, and Sunshine State are just a few of the major motion pictures that were filmed in Nassau County, Florida in recent years.
Through the efforts of The Amelia Island Film Festival which organizes an Annual Screening Festival in February, much attention has been given lately to the advantages of producing motion pictures and video commercials in Nassau County.
Native Land Productions is currently finalizing production schedules for an Indie movie titled “Native Land: Lost in the Mystery of Time”, while other productions are in various phases of development. Contact the Amelia Island Film Society for information.
