Nicole White

Nicole White, Nassau County Economic Development Board Executive Assistant, was born in Southern California and is the oldest of four children. She attended San Diego State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Art’s degree in Public Relations in May 2007 and was married In July 2007 to her husband, Joseph, who is a submariner in the United States Navy.

Upon graduation and completion of her public relations year-long internship, she accepted a position with a non-profit fundraising organization where she was the Citizen Outreach Director in San Diego and Tampa, FL. In this position, she used her experience in public relations to coordinate environmental and social justice campaigns with a staff of canvassers. Following the outreach campaign in Tampa, she made a lateral move to a volunteer based campaign during the 2008 presidential election, where she ran a voter registration drive and campaign for high speed rail in California. Following the completion of the campaign, she accepted a position with a local staffing agency as an Office Assistant.

Nicole and her husband relocated to the Southeast on Joseph’s orders to Kings Bay, Ga. They recently bought a house in Yulee, where she, her husband, two dogs and two cats reside. Nicole enjoys outdoor activities and volunteering in her community.
